Either you are experienced in sewing or a beginner, fleece is so much fun to work with! Although generally it is mentioned as “the official fabric of winter” due to being so cozy and fluffy, there are tons of options it can be used all around the year. The options are limitless with this lovely fabric.
What can I do with fleece?
Fleece comes in tons of different colors and prints. You can make pants, pajamas, gloves, beanies, scarves, headbands, costumes, capes, gym clothes, ear warmer, baby clothes and accessories including tie blankets, sheets, pillowcases, drawer organizer, shopping bags and many more…
Dos and Don’ts
Do use a fresh needle for each project. For most, 80/12 universal needle would be fine. However, if you are working with thicker fabrics or layers, then you may go with a bigger size of needle such as 90/14 universal or microtex. The good thing about microtex is, the pointing end is sharper so the stitching is more precise.
Do use 100% polyester thread. Cotton threads are not suitable for fleece.
Do replace the needle when working with a large amount of fabric. Fleece dulls needles faster than most of other fabrics. A dull needle means skipped stitches and machine jams. Replacing the needles after every 6-7 hours of sewing will give you peace of mind.
Do work with longer quilting pins. If you use regular small ones for clothing, you will most probably end up with trying to locate them.
Do choose simple, clean patterns and loose fits. Layering fleece will look bulky.
Don’t iron fleece directly. It will melt the fibers. However, you may set iron temperature low and use an ironing blanket on top of the fabric.
Don’t use harsh detergents or bleach.

We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.
There will be a 20 Percent restocking fee on all returns.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
